Story: The protagonist, Kuroganeyaiba, is an unconventional young swordsman who trained in the jungle with his father. When Yaiba returns to Japan by chance, he has a fateful encounter with his rival, Onimaru Takeshi. As they repeatedly clash and strive for strength, the “legendary magic sword” awakens…
Background: The original manga series was serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday (Shogakukan) from 1988 to 1993 and has been released in 24 tankobon volumes.
