A new anime special episode of “Undead Unluck” has been announced, scheduled to air in Winter 2025. The episode will be a 1-hour special.
The announcement was made to coincide with the anniversary of the meeting between the main characters, Andy and Fuuko, which falls on August 1st.

Yuichi Nakamura (Andy) and Moeka Kishimoto (Fuuko) have shared their thoughts on the upcoming special episode.
Nakamura said they’re excited to see the visuals in the 1-hour special. I’m looking forward to the day when we can all say ‘That’s awesome!’ together!”
Kishimoto said: “I was thrilled to hear about the new episode! As a fan of the original work, I’m excited to see the story continue. I’ll do my best to keep up with the stronger Fuuko and the others!”
Undead Unluck follows Fuuko, a girl who brings bad luck to those around her, and Andy, an immortal boy. Together, they search for the best way for Andy to die. The original manga is serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha), and the anime adaptation aired from October 2023 for two consecutive cours.
