The second season of the TV anime “The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse” has released its main visual and promotional video (PV), giving fans a glimpse into the exciting adventures to come.
The main visual features Percival and his friends exploring the walled city of Walnack, surrounded by rocks. However, a mysterious figure can be seen lurking in the shadows, hinting at an eventful opening to the season.
The main PV showcases new characters and intense battle scenes as Percival and his friends face off against their arch-nemesis, Arthur. The PV also features the opening theme song “MMH” by UVERworld, who previously sang the theme song for “The Seven Deadly Sins”.
New Cast Members
Three new cast members have been announced:
- Togi Michiko as Teaninick, a knight of chaos who can control small creatures at will.
- Nomura Kenji as Macduff, a knight of chaos who is an expert in martial arts and has the magical power to erase surrounding sound.
- Hanamori Yumiri as Io, a mysterious beauty with a glamorous figure and a mature allure.
Character design drawings for these new characters have also been released.
Theme Songs
The artists behind the theme songs for the second season have been revealed:
- Opening theme: “MMH” by UVERworld
- Ending theme: “Akairo” by Hana Hope
UVERworld commented on their song, saying, “It’s a song that combines speed and strength to support the Four Knights who face Arthur, so please enjoy it along with the anime!”
Hana Hope also shared her thoughts on her song, saying, “The color ‘red’ represents both life and death, and shows that we are connected. And to live is to face death. In ‘Akairo’, I expressed that strength.”
“The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse Season 2” is the official sequel to “The Seven Deadly Sins”. The story follows Percival, a kind-hearted boy who embarks on an adventure after meeting a mysterious knight. In the second season, Percival meets Meliodas and others and learns of the devastation happening in the world. He decides to defeat Arthur with his friends and throws himself into the battle.
