The light novel series “Silent Witch”, Sairento Witchi by Matsuri Isora is getting an anime adaptation. The news was announced on August 2, 2024, during the “Aniplex x KADOKAWA Anime Festival” livestream on YouTube and ABEMA. Saya Aizawa will voice the main character, Monica Everett.
Story
In the kingdom of Lidel, magic is a part of everyday life. However, humans are unable to use magic without chanting spells. Monica Everett, a young and talented witch, is an exception. She is able to use magic without chanting and is known as the “Silent Witch.” Monica is a genius, but she is also extremely shy and has a fear of being around people. She lives in the mountains with her black cat familiar and spends most of her time researching and studying magic.
One day, Louis Miller, a fellow member of the Seven Sages, visits Monica and assigns her a secret mission. She is to infiltrate a prestigious school for nobles and protect the second prince. Monica is hesitant at first, but she eventually accepts the mission.
