Toto’s Request Box Video Project
In addition to the premiere date announcement, a unique video project has been launched by Azagami Yohei (voice of Ron) and Enoki Junya (voice of Toto). Earlier this year, at the KADOKAWA booth at AnimeJapan 2024, fans were invited to submit their “cases” – consultations and worries – under the title “Toto’s Request Box.” In this video series, Azagami and Enoki will tackle a number of these cases, offering their solutions and insights. Two new videos are scheduled to be released each week starting in September, so stay tuned!
For those new to the series, Ron Kamonohashi’s Forbidden Deductions follows the story of Kamonohashi Ron, a young man who once achieved top grades at the world’s top detective training school, BLUE. However, due to an incident, he lost his detective license. The series also focuses on Toto, known as Isshiki Totomaru, who is treated as a burden at the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department’s First Investigative Division. The anime will be broadcast on AT-X and other channels.
The second season of the anime will be produced by diomedéa, the same studio behind the first season. The source material for the anime is a manga adaptation, ensuring a faithful representation of the original story.
