Mecha Ude Anime New Key Visual Released and debut 3 October

Get ready for the upcoming TV anime “Mecha Ude” which is set to premiere on TOKYO MX and other stations on October 3rd! The anime has just announced an additional cast member, Yamaguchi Kappei, who will be playing the role of Yakumo, the founder of the large company Kagami Group.

In a statement, Yamaguchi commented on his experience recording for the role, saying, “The recording was a long time ago, and under the circumstances of the time, it was just me and Sugita who recorded the voice, but being entrusted with the role of someone so important to someone is a great honor for an actor, and I had fun and was able to play the role with passion.” Yakumo is a significant character who appears only once in the series.

To coincide with the announcement, the third key visual for “Mecha Ude” has also been released. The visual depicts the main characters Hikaru, Alma, and others engaged in a heated battle. At the center of the visual is a depiction of Yakumo and his older brother Tsukihito, whose cast member has yet to be revealed.

Story Overview

“Mecha Ude” is a story centered on Hikaru, a middle school student living an ordinary life, and Alma, an arm-shaped mechanical lifeform called Mecha Ude. Mecha Ude has the ability to move by bonding with humans. The anime is directed by TriF Studio animation artist Okamoto, who is also the original creator. The voice cast includes Toshiyuki Toyonaga as Hikaru and Tomokazu Sugita as Alma.
