Exciting news for fans of the upcoming TV anime If My Wife Becomes an Elementary School Student! Based on the original work by Murata Yaoru, the anime is set to premiere in October 2024 on TOKYO MX, BS11, and other stations.
Storyline
The anime tells the heartwarming story of Keisuke, a loving husband whose wife dies in an accident, and his daughter Mai, whose wife Takae appears in the form of a 10-year-old primary school student. The series explores how the family is reborn as they navigate this unexpected twist.
New Cast Members
Two new cast members have been announced:
- Kojima Sachiko as Shiraishi Chika, the mother of Shiraishi Marika, Takae’s reincarnation
- Iwanaka Mutsumi as Aikawa Renji, a young man who meets and becomes deeply involved with Mai

The key visual features Keisuke and Mai chasing Takae and Marika, as well as Keisuke’s subordinate Moriya Yoshimi, and the newly announced cast members Chika and Renji.
