The highly anticipated second season of the anime “Hyakusho Kizoku” is set to premiere on October 4th, 2024, on TOKYO MX, TV Hokkaido, and BS Asahi. The anime is based on the original work by renowned manga artist Hiromu Arakawa, which chronicles her seven-year experience as a farmer in Hokkaido before becoming a successful manga artist.
The 1st season anime story starts with, Before rising to fame as a renowned manga artist, Hiromu Arakawa spent seven years working as a farmer in Hokkaido. This unique experience has given her a deep understanding of the many emotions that come with agricultural work. In her essay-style comic, “Hyakusho Kizoku”, Arakawa masterfully captures the harsh realities of Japanese dairy farming, while also shedding light on the tough and powerful way of life that comes with it.
