The official Twitter account of the anime series “Kaiju No. 8” has announced that the second season of the anime will be released in 2025. The news was revealed on August 5, which is also known as “Kaiju No. 8 Day”.
A new promotional video was also released, which looks back on the battles against the monsters in the first season. The video also reveals that a compilation film of the first season and a new film titled “Hakko no Kyuujitsu” (Hakko’s Holiday) will be released in theaters in 2025.
The event “Kaiju No. 8” will be held on June 1, 2025, at the Kanagawa Kenmin Hall, where the cast members will appear on stage. The event’s ticket priority sales application voucher will be included as a bonus in the limited edition of the anime’s fourth Blu-ray volume.
Additionally, new information about the manga exhibition “Kaiju No. 8 Exhibition” has been released, including the menu and goods that will be available. The exhibition will be held in Tokyo and will tour nationwide.
